More July Adventures

In July we were at home for Summer Session and had a lot of fun visiting with friends here on campus as well as up in Maine and NH.

Here are some pictures from a couple visits with Lani, Steve and Emma up in York, ME.

This is from York Harbor:

We also went into Harvard Square to visit Jooe and Victor, and a new Pinkberry had just opened--yummeeee!!!

Then Jooe came to our house and brought a great glow-in-the-dark Goodnight Moon puzzle and swam at Pomps Pond with us!

And what blog post would be complete without a picture of Alison driving a tractor or some other large vehicle?

Here's some beautiful-looking lettuces from our garden! The cherry tomatoes have been so yummy too.

And then let's talk about the tutu set. She wears the tutu almost everyday, and many days she also carries around the wand and wears the headpiece with long flowing ribbons. Those aren't usually encouraged outside the house, but I guess I was feeling more carefree and generous on this day. She loves dancing more than anything, and "all the world's a stage" she takes quite literally. Here she is outside of the mailroom:

And in our bedroom:

Just a random, "I love when my Daddy's on vacation" shot:

Haircuts have now been moved outside:

Kitty Cat's clearly trying to look away, hoping we won't give him a trim:

It's hard to make out anything but Alison's pigtails, but here we are swimming at Pomps Pond with Maureen and Thomas on a beautiful summer evening:

We went to North Conway to check out Fe's condo and had a blast! Although Alison never actually got into the pool that day--she just wanted to hang out with Giraffe.

She absolutely LOVED wading through Jackson Falls, though! We were there for an hour and a half and could've stayed for much longer.

Going hunting for frogs near the condo:
