It has dawned on me that I only have 2 1/2 weeks left before I lose the little bit of flexibility and free time that I have so enjoyed this summer! Therefore, I am going to try to get caught up on a lot of things, including blogging, and mentally prepare myself for September 7, aka Doomsday.
Here are the rest of the pictures from our Hawaii trip in June. It was fun to relive our weeks in Paradise!

Grandpa was very prepared for all sand-related activities

Where'd my legs go?

Hey, who's that cute little boy riding duckback?
Nice postcard!
Oh wait, that's just the evening view from the deck!

And here it is on another night, complete with moon up above

Such a cushy hammock!

So comfy...but then a minute later it came crashing down
because of a loose screw...whoops!

Watering Grandpa's flowers

"More water please!"

Exploring the coconut trees in the yard

And the yummiest apple bananas around!

Seeing stars...

The Honolulu Aquarium was really fun--
seahorses and all kinds of fish!

And info-walkie talkies

Indulging in hot malasadas on the way to the North Shore for a few days

Just a happy couple of folks on a nice long walk from our rental condo

The day started off so beautifully...

And we finally reached the Turtle Bay Resort

And went for a swim in the bay

And saw the parrots inside

And on our way back the heavens opened and we got soaked!!

Good thing Daddy kept his sense of humor!
(Mommy not as much)

Back at the condo, it was all fun and games again

This is the view while driving on the highway--
It's much harder to have road rage when everything is so beautiful!

We visited one of Leah's friends from Kindergarten (whoa!)
and had a really wonderful time with her family

We all went to Lanikai Beach, which is just gorgeous

The whole gang (minus photographer Daddy)

Just like in Kindergarten

More stunning views on the drive home

Getting ready to put some beautiful homegrown flowers
on Mommy's Grandpa's grave for Father's Day

Hanging out poolside in the city with a fruit roll-up

Doing some stickers

and some letters with Halmony

Oh Scuffy the Tugboat...you're my hero

Mommy wishes she had my posture
(but not my belly)

Just another beautiful day to look at airplanes and clouds

And of course feed Duckie

That's a hungry duck!

This picture was clearly taken after Duckie made a good joke

They both seem to be enjoying the bubbles

A boat sighting (very common but always exciting)!

Back to the ocean for one last swim

Fake smile for the camera!
(she comes up with this goofy smile when she's whining and
we ask her to tell us when she's happy again, or
before a picture)

At the airport, very sad to be leaving Halmony and Grandpa

Luckily she can't resist a good tickle

The happy little family

Ok, one more book...

When you're on the plane for 12 hours,
you start getting desperate for entertainment ideas...

A very cute Daddy-Daughter moment in the airport

Isn't it fun/crazy to see childhood friends and have your kids play together? That always sort of blows my mind. Glad you had such a great trip -- it looks wonderful. Oh, and we know that fake smile well. Unfortunately, that may last a while!
